A few measures should be taken to make sure that your trailer cannot be stolen and to keep others from getting to your valuables inside.
- Add a trailer tongue lock to the trailer to stop others from hooking up to your trailer.
- Add a trailer wheel lock or Boot and locking lug nuts. This will prevent the trailer from being towed if hooked up to a vehicle.
- Doors should be locked from the outside with trailer Puck Locks NOT regular pad locks.
- The NEW most popular trailer lock is the Hasp with Puck Lock. This system is much harder to cut or pry open than other systems.
